Whitecliff Play Area

In Bovington, Wareham, you have the opportunity for the history of tanks to come to life. At this site is the worlds best collections of tanks, along with action packed live displays during the school holidays. Armoured warfare in this respect spans over 100 years and you see and hear the history at the tank museum.
If you love activities that revolve around animals then this is definitely a place for you to visit. You can feed lambs, view animals, take a tractor trailer ride, watch milking and have fun in the play areas. The area includes a restaurant and shop and it is ideal for families with young children.
The Rex Cinema
Based in Wareham, this 12o seat cinema often hosts special film event evenings. There are family film matinees during school holidays. We would encourage you to check their website to see what is going and as the latest news is there. There is a charming interior that dates back to 1920. We would recommend that you check this place out and take your drinks from their bar to their auditorium so that you can fully enjoy your visit.
The Blue Pool
This is an amazing natural water feature with turquoise colouring, plus estate to explore with 3 playgrounds and a squirrel sculpture trail. If there are kids present, rest assured, they will love the Wareham Bears Collection.
The Church Knowle Animal Sanctuary and Visitor Centre is free to visit between 10am and 4pm. This is your chance to meet the animals in some of Dorsets most beautiful scenery. You can bring a picnic and spend a few hours enjoying yourself whilst you witness the first class care for their rescued animals.
No doubt you have been to sandbanks before, or at least heard of it. This family beach has literally everything you could want for a fun day out, with local amenities and amusements, activities and equipment hire.
The Dolphin Swimming Pool
This offers standard and teaching swimming facilities along with a diving pool with 1m and 3m springboards and a 5m platform.
This is just around 10 miles from us here at The Castleton and put simply, it offers what you would hope; family friendly tenpin bowling alleys. You can request bumpers and ball ramps. Everyone loves the Glow Ball Disco Nights.
