Worth Matravers Woodhenge
The beautiful and dramatic woodhenge sculpture, set on the outskirts of picturesque Worth Matravers, was built by the local landlord of nearby pub Square and Compass using 35 tonnes of timber!
The breathtaking sculpture stands at 12ft and has been drawing in photographers, tourists and locals alike. Unfortunately the sculpture is set to be dismantled in September so if you’re interested in seeing it in all its glory while it’s still standing proudly in the Dorset countryside, make sure you plan your trip before the 4th of September!!
While you’re in Worth why not stop for a drink and pasty in the iconic Square and Compass pub? Or take a stroll down to the tea rooms for a spot of lunch?
