This is one of the most popular walks in the UK for experienced #ramblers. The entire length of the Jurassic Coastline is almost 100 miles. Along this beautiful walk you will encounter unique scenery that exposes millions of years’ worth of history.
Palaeontologists travel from all over the world to source fossils from this coastline exposed by stormy weather in the winter.
This part of the UK was the first to achieve UNESCO world heritage status. You can begin the walk only yards away from The Castleton Hotel in Swanage (South west Coastal Path) near old Harry Rocks (famous white cliff stacks) and finish at Exmouth where the Red Triassic Rocks are plentiful.
Our coastline is truly spectacular and will wind through chocolate box villages that will literally transport you to a different time zone and take your breath away. This #Jurassic coastline has featured in many films and documentaries.
Along our coastline there are dedicated walks for all levels of experience and internationally famous landmarks to enjoy such as #Durdle Door, #Lulworth Cove and #West Bay to name just a few.
