STUDLAND NATURE RESERVE
One of the most popular places to visit in THE ISLE OF PURBECK only 2.5 hrs from London.
A simply unique, unspoilt, and spectacular coastline which offers gorgeous sandy beaches, with gentle shallow bathing areas for nearly 5 miles. Surrounded by sand dunes and woodland you could explore our nature trails which could expose any one of the 6 reptiles which live in the UK depending on the time of year.
You can also soak up the incredible views of “Old Harry Rocks” and on a clear day you can see the Isle of Wight in the distance. This is a hugely popular spot for walkers and general tourists visiting Dorset which has recently been voted one of the top 40 places in the world to visit!
Whilst here for the more energetic people among you there are a plethora of watersports opportunities to enjoy for all levels of experience which include sea kayaking, jet skiis, paddleboarding and kite surfing to name but a few, allm of which you can hire at reasonable prices.
You may also get lucky and spot our deer and can always enjoy our birdlife, insects and wild flowers. There is a birdwatching hut within a 15 minute walk that is very popular with RSPB members
